Who is LUVY ?

At 19 years old, Luca Vitale from Vicenza, Italy, is rapidly making a name for himself in the art world, combining his youthful energy with a deep passion for abstract painting. What makes Luca's story even more unique is the driving force behind his work - his lifelong obsession with automobiles. The passion for the world of art was instilled in me from the early years of studying visual arts by his painting professor, Mattia Serra, who is still teaching in Venice.

From a young age, Luca was also mesmerized by the smooth curves of racing cars, the roar of engines and the thrill of speed. Now this passion has found new fulfillment on canvas, where he transforms the dynamic movement of the automotive world into striking abstract art.

Luca's paintings are an explosion of color, energy and form, conveying the adrenaline of high-speed racing. His work often features sharp angles and bold, sweeping brushstrokes that echo the lines of the cars he admires. The colors he chooses - metallic silver, deep reds and electric blues - recall the polished aesthetic of sports cars, while the abstract shapes suggest movement and speed, as if the paintings themselves were in motion.

 One of many goals is to connect the observer with my artworks to give them a moment of complete reflection (immersion) and imagination within themselves, perhaps things they have never perceived until that particular moment.

This peculiar fusion of art and automotive passion recently led Luca to an unexpected destination: Paris. In 2023, Luca was invited to present his first exhibition at the prestigious Paris Fashion Week, a rare opportunity for such a young artist. The exhibition took place in a chic mansion in the center of Paris on Saint Germain and brought together fashion and art lovers.

For Luca, showing his art in Paris was a dream come true. The city's reputation as a world center for art and fashion was the perfect backdrop for his unique style. “Paris is a place where art and innovation come together, just like in my paintings,” Luca explains. “The energy of the city matches the speed and passion I try to express in my work.”

Despite his young age, Luca is already being hailed as a rising star on the contemporary art scene. His journey, steeped in his love of cars and creativity, is just beginning. As he continues to develop his signature style, it is clear that Luca Vitale is more than just an artist to watch, he is aiming for a future where his passion for art and cars will take him to even greater heights.
